This year’s Showcase will focus on the responsible delivery of AI in government and the practical implementation of the Australian Public Service AI Plan.

Program

The full-day program will include keynote presentations, practical use cases, panel discussions, breakout sessions and networking opportunities.

Topics will include:

  • moving from AI experimentation and pilots to safe, enterprise-scale adoption across government
  • building APS workforce capability, readiness and organisational change
  • responsible AI governance, assurance, accountability and human oversight
  • strengthening cyber security, privacy, data quality and other foundations for trusted AI
  • procurement, co-design and effective partnerships between government and Australian AI SMEs
  • practical lessons from agency and whole-of-government AI implementation
  • emerging AI capabilities, including agentic systems, and their implications for government service delivery.
