Privacy Collection Notice

In this consultation, we will collect personal information you provide including your name, organisation, email address, phone number, comments and opinions.

By including personal information in your response, you consent to the Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) collecting, using and disclosing that information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. If you need to include personal information about another individual in your response, you will need to inform that individual of the contents of this statement and obtain their consent to us collecting their personal information.

Our Privacy Policy also explains how you can request access to or correct the personal information we hold about you, and who to contact if you have a privacy enquiry or complaint.

How we will use your personal information

The DTA is seeking input from digital sellers and other industry stakeholders on the draft DSUP to help ensure the final Policy is fair, clear, transparent and proportionate. We want the DSUP to support effective collaboration between sellers and Government buyers. We may use your details to contact you, if needed, to clarify any feedback and comments you provide.

Where your consent is provided, we may use artificial intelligence (AI) tools including Microsoft Copilot and Azure OpenAI to help us analyse the feedback we receive through this consultation. These tools can assist us in identifying common themes and summarising responses more efficiently. All outputs by Copilot and Azure OpenAI will be subject to review by agency staff.

When we disclose your personal information

The information you provide will be used by the DTA and may be disclosed to relevant government agencies and ministers’ offices with an interest in the consultation topic.

DTA may publish in part or in full the information you provide, for example in our consultation report. If you prefer your response to remain anonymous, please choose this option in the form. If you choose this option, content from your submission may be included in part or in full in public documents, but will not be identified against you personally or against your organisation. You also have the option of informing us if any content in your submission is commercially sensitive or should otherwise not be publicly disclosed which we will take into account.

We will otherwise not use or disclose your personal information without your consent except where required or authorised by law.
