AI Government Showcase 2026 – Small to medium enterprise (SME) Exhibition Opportunities

The AI Government Showcase offers Australian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) a unique opportunity to connect with public sector decision-makers and demonstrate practical AI capabilities relevant to government.
The event attracts senior leaders, digital and data practitioners, procurement professionals, policy teams, and AI specialists from across the APS.

Why exhibit

Exhibitors will have the opportunity to:

  • demonstrate relevant AI products, services and real-world use cases to government audiences
  • build relationships with APS leaders, practitioners and procurement professionals
  • gain insight into government AI priorities, challenges and emerging use cases
  • connect with potential partners and participate in a national event focused on practical AI adoption in government.

Exhibitor package 

Cost: AUD$1,100 including GST
Inclusions:

  • one 3 m × 3 m exhibition space - Organisations may enhance and customise their booth at their own expense
  • access to the exhibition floor throughout the event
  • an organisation profile in exhibitor materials
  • opportunities to network with APS attendees
  • event communications and promotional opportunities, where applicable

Eligibility criteria 

To be considered, organisations must:

  • qualify as a small or medium enterprise (SME)
  • be at least 50 per cent Australian owned
  • offer AI products or services or enabling capabilities relevant to government, such as, data, assurance, cybersecurity, integration or workforce tools 
  • demonstrate capability and readiness to engage with government audiences.

Application requirements

Expressions of Interests will close COB Friday, 11 September 2026. Applicants will need to provide information demonstrating:

  • their SME status
  • Australian ownership
  • relevant capability
  • readiness to engage with government. 

Space is limited. Applications will be assessed against the eligibility and assessment criteria, strength of the proposed demonstration, including relevance to government and readiness to participate.

Expression of Interest (EOI)

Australian SMEs interested in exhibiting are invited to submit an Expression of Interest.
Note: Submission does not guarantee an exhibition place. Space is limited. Applications will be assessed against the eligibility and assessment criteria, including relevance to government, strength of the proposed demonstration and readiness to participate.
